Location is picturesque and food is nice.
A room with twin beds was requested upon booking. Unfortunately, a room with one (small) double bed was provided. While I understand that requests such as this cannot always be facilitated, some apology or comment at checkin would have been appreciated. The leisure centre is tiny. The pool is adequate but the changing rooms are badly deficient in changing space and locker availability. The mens changing area had 12 lockers, none of which would hold even a small sports bag, and 5 of the 12 had broken locks. A cynical person would say that the leisure centre has been added purely to tick the "leisure centre available " box.

It was an excellent hotel in a great location staffed by great people.
We found that the amount of small children running about the hotel late at night very off putting, when all we wanted to do was have a quiet night cap hordes of children constantly ran through the hotel.

I liked the quiet comfort of the hotel and its closeness to the lovely village of Rosscarbery. We were down for the road bowls finals and met other bowls enthusiasts. They were very happy with the hotel also. Unfortunately we did not get to use the leisure centre, a mix of tiredness after the bowling, laziness and the anticipation of the excellent dinner menu. The staff in the dining room were first class in our book. If we are down in Cork again we will certainly be making a booking

Service in the dining room was very poor and the food served was not up to hotel standards. Bottle of wine left on table with cap on!!!
